Here are the first construction photos of the Coral Cove 31.


Bulkheads being set up on the building jigs. This builder chose to build two jigs and build the hulls side by side, and together. He will save a lot of work this way.
Bulkheads up, stem , keelson and sheer strakes in place.
Chines on.
Framing done and ready to start planking. Now she looks like a boat!
Planking on - this shows the nice clean lines of the stern. Note that the minin keels are on as well.
Hull planked - bow view this time. The hulls are long and lean and very streamlines. This is the outer side of the port hull.
This is the inner side of the Port hull. Note the inner pods which are the reason for this boat's superb accomodation. Note also that the pods are on the outer sides here. When the hulls are rolled the pods will be inside and facing each other - just a little fore thought goes a long way.
