WHAT IS PAYPAL
PayPal is a totally
secure service for the receiving of payments for online
transactions.
The advantage of using PayPal is
that you can make your purchase safe in the knowledge that your credit
/ debit card or financial information is totally secure, and does not need
to be provided to us, the vendor.
PayPal allows you to make your purchase
online in just a few minutes, using all major credit or debit cards (Visa,
MasterCard, BankCard,Amex etc), by eCheque, or , if you have a PayPal
account
(which takes only a few minutes to set up) by direct transfer of funds
from your PayPal account or linked Bank account.
Note # You do not
require a PayPal account to buy plans
from us through PayPal.
If you choose to buy plans and you do not have a PayPal
account, the opening screen at PayPal will
give you the opportunity to enter your Name and Address details for delivery
and continue with the transaction, using a credit card, without the need
to open an account. If you already have a PayPal
account, you have the option of logging in to use this account, and using
any one of the other payment methods available through PayPal,
and also saving yourself the time of entering your personal details.
If you have an account but choose not to use it, you will be prompted to
do so, but will be able to proceed with a credit card purchase regardless.
Using a Secure Online Transaction for your
purchase is safer and more secure than providing your credit card information
by Telephone, Mail or Facsimile. It is also much faster.
SPECIAL ORDERS AND CUSTOM DESIGN PAYMENTS
Where the transaction involves a special agreed
upon price, or where payments for custom work are involved, the standard
PayPal purchase buttons are not used. In these cases we will make arrangements
direct with the client, and will then direct PayPal to issue a 'Request
for Payment' to the client's email. This email will contain a link which
will allow the client to go direct to Paypal and make a remittance for
the exact agreed upon amount, as easy as if using a standard purchase button.
PROCEDURE (for standard purchases).
When you click a 'BUY NOW' button,
or you 'PROCEED TO CHECKOUT' from the

the opportunity to either log in (if you have a PayPal
account)
or enter your details if you do not.
You will then be given the opportunity to review the information you
have entered for correctness, and change it if you wish to do so. One you
are happy, you then click the 'BUY NOW
' button to complete the transaction. Note that prior to this point you
are able to cancel the transaction at any screen and return to this Site.
You will then be notified on screen that your transaction has been completed.
At this stage you will be able to open up a printable receipt for printing.
You will also find a link to return you to our Site.
PayPal will send you an Email receipt
with full details of your transaction. The transaction will also appear
on your Credit / Debit Card Statement as a transaction from 'WALDESIGN'
Paypal immediately notifies Mike
Waller Yacht Design of a successful transaction, and provides
us with your purchase and shipping details (but not your card details).
Where your purchase is made by credit or debit card, or direct transfer,
your plans are usually sent within 2 working days. Where purchase is made
via eCheque, your transaction will take several days to clear and delivery
may be delayed for 3 - 4 days.
Please read further details of our Sales
and Delivery Policies. You can help us ensure that your delivery
goes smoothly by ensuring that you provide an email address and telephone
contact number at the time of purchase.

Mike Waller Yacht Design is a business specialising
in boat plans for amateur boat builders. We custom design, and provide
stock plans for both monohulls and multihulls, mainly catamarans. Other
designs are sailing skiffs and sharpies, as well as power catamarans. Our
designs mainly feature timber construction, in plywood or cedar strip plank
composite construction, using the W.E.S.T. system (wood epoxy saturation
technique). Our designs are intended mainly as cruising boats, although
several have done well in racing.
